Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements, cash flows, and industry trends to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk mitigation strategies for commercial loan portfolios
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and identify early warning signals
- Stay current with regulatory compliance (FIRREA, BSA, etc.)
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Expertise in financial modeling and risk assessment methodologies
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, and credit reporting tools
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills with stakeholders
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
