Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit memorandums and risk assessment reports with actionable recommendations
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning indicators of potential defaults
- Collaborate with commercial lending teams to structure credit facilities aligned with risk tolerance
- Stay current on regulatory compliance (FDIC, OCC) and industry best practices
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and propose policy refinements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and risk assessment tools
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) strongly preferred
