Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess applicant creditworthiness
- Prepare comprehensive credit risk evaluations and recommendation reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure optimal lending solutions
- Monitor existing portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Develop and maintain credit scoring models and risk assessment frameworks
- Present findings to credit committees and senior leadership
- Stay current on industry regulations and lending best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of credit analysis experience in commercial lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of credit risk assessment methodologies
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB, or equivalent) preferred
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative reasoning skills
- Proven ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
