Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and industry trends to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk evaluations for loan committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal lending policies
- Develop strong relationships with local businesses and financial institutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling (Excel, Bloomberg Terminal)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, credit risk frameworks, and SBA lending guidelines
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly
- Active NMLS license preferred
