- Analyze financial statements, credit history, and market data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit reports and make recommendations for credit approval/decline decisions
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with lending officers to structure optimal credit terms
- Stay current on industry regulations and credit policy updates
- Present complex financial analyses to senior management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and MS Excel
- Credit certification (CRCM/CCE) preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with credit bureau reporting tools
