Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (CA, CA, US)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and 401(k) contributions accurately
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare quarterly tax filings
- Respond to payroll inquiries with precision and confidentiality
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience in California
- ADP Workforce Now certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of CA wage laws and multi-state taxation
- Proficiency in Excel and payroll reconciliation software
- BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven track record of zero-error payroll cycles
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive data
