Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and industry trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessment reports for loan committee review
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay current on regulatory changes affecting credit policies and procedures
- Present findings to senior leadership with clear data-driven recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and credit risk assessment tools
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, and credit software platforms
- Experience with commercial lending in the Southeast US market
