Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and industry trends to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations and risk mitigation strategies
- Manage portfolio risk exposure through ongoing monitoring and reporting
- Collaborate with lending teams to structure optimal financing solutions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and clients
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
- Credit certification (CRCM or equivalent) highly desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Knowledge of Milwaukee's regional economy and key industries
