Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and collateral to assess credit risk for commercial loan applications
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments with clear recommendations
- Monitor existing portfolio performance and identify early warning indicators
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices in credit analysis
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with internal policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP)
- Credit certification (CRCM, CCE, or equivalent) preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong communication skills for presenting complex financial information
