Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across commercial lending portfolios
- Develop and maintain dynamic financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis
- Prepare executive-level presentations translating financial insights into actionable strategic recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and cost optimization initiatives
- Lead ad-hoc financial analyses supporting M&A activities and market expansion strategies
- Maintain compliance with SOX regulations and internal financial controls
- Mentor junior analysts through financial modeling best practices and analytical frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in banking or fintech
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Power Query) and financial modeling
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into executive-ready insights
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- CPA or CFA designation preferred
