Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth credit risk assessments for commercial and corporate clients
- Prepare detailed financial models and cash flow projections
- Analyze industry trends and market conditions affecting credit decisions
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to optimize risk-adjusted returns
- Present credit recommendations to executive leadership committees
- Maintain compliance with federal and state banking regulations
- Mentor junior analysts and develop team credit expertise
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Expertise in financial statement analysis and ratio modeling
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations (Regulations Z, FFIEC)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Professional certification (CFA, CRCM, or CMB) preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven track record in credit risk management
