Responsibilities
- Analyze commercial and consumer credit applications using financial modeling tools to assess risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit reports with recommendations for loan approvals, modifications, or denials
- Monitor existing portfolios for compliance and early identification of potential delinquencies
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure credit solutions aligned with client needs and risk parameters
- Stay current on regulatory changes (FHA, SBA, etc.) and implement compliance protocols
- Present credit risk findings to credit committees and executive stakeholders
- Develop automated reporting systems to enhance efficiency in credit decision workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience with proven portfolio management
- Expertise in financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and risk assessment frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and credit software (e.g., Moody's Analytics)
- Strong understanding of federal lending regulations and industry compliance standards
- Credit certification (CRCM, CCE) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
