Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger entries and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a regular basis.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and supporting schedules.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve budgeting and forecasting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or CPA candidacy is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
