Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are posted accurately and timely.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts to assist senior management in financial planning and analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions), and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
