Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-month-end close process, including preparing trial balances and financial statements.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring full compliance with regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide detailed reporting to management to support decision-making.
- Assist with external audits and internal controls reviews.
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives for the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
