Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of commercial loan applications for entities exceeding $50M in revenue
- Develop sophisticated credit risk models using advanced Excel and SQL techniques
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk mitigation strategies for executive review
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to monitor existing credit exposures and identify emerging risks
- Lead due diligence processes for complex financing transactions across diverse industries
- Mentor junior analysts and drive continuous improvement in credit evaluation frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience with financial institutions
- Expert proficiency in financial modeling, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory compliance
- Advanced knowledge of FASB, GAAP, and commercial lending regulations
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to interpret complex financial statements
