Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and credit reports to assess borrower viability
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessment reports for portfolio review
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Collaborate with commercial lenders to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay current with industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit risk
- Present findings to credit committees with clear data-driven recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
- Credit risk certification (CRCM/CRA) or equivalent
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Experience with credit underwriting software (e.g., Moody's RiskCalculus)
