Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements and market trends to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare comprehensive credit reports and risk assessments for commercial lending portfolios
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure loan terms aligned with risk appetite
- Monitor existing credit exposures and recommend mitigations for emerging risks
- Stay current on regulatory changes (FIRREA, BSA) and implement compliance protocols
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to process optimization initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in financial services
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg Terminal, and credit software
- Strong understanding of cash flow modeling and covenant structures
- Series 7/63 or SIE license preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts to stakeholders
