Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable, on a weekly basis.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports for leadership review.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and audits.
- Ensure all financial transactions adhere to company policies and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with the team to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts while communicating effectively with the team.
