Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and market trends to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare comprehensive credit reports and risk assessments for commercial loans
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with lending teams to structure optimal financing solutions
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal credit policies
- Present findings to credit committees and senior management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Proficiency in credit scoring models and risk assessment frameworks
- Strong Excel skills with financial modeling capabilities
- Experience with lending software (e.g., Moody's RiskCal, Fiserv)
- Credit Analyst Certification (CRCM) or equivalent
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
