Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive credit risk evaluations for commercial loan applications, analyzing financial statements, cash flow projections, and industry trends
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments with clear recommendations for loan approval, modification, or denial
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance with credit policies and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with lending teams to structure optimal credit solutions while maintaining risk-adjusted profitability
- Stay current on regulatory changes (FCA, BSA) and implement updated credit policies across all products
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience with portfolio exposure >$50M
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling (DCF, LBO) and credit risk assessment tools
- Proven track record of managing complex credit decisions in regulated environments
