- Resolve complex billing discrepancies through direct insurer/patient communication
- Conduct monthly audits to ensure compliance with HIPAA and CMS regulations
- Generate revenue cycle reports for executive leadership review
- Train staff on billing system updates and process improvements
- Collaborate with clinical departments to capture complete charge information
- Manage denial appeals with 95% success rate benchmark
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with CPT/ICD-10 coding knowledge
- Proficiency in Epic Resolute or comparable RCM systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet/exceed denial reduction targets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Maryland Medicaid programs required
