Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial data to assess creditworthiness and loan viability
- Prepare detailed credit reports and risk assessments for commercial clients
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Ensure compliance with federal and state lending regulations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners
- Present findings to credit committees with clear, actionable recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and lending regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Credit certification (CRCM, CCE, or equivalent) a plus
- Proven track record in risk assessment and portfolio management
