Responsibilities
- Process daily transactions including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing efficiently and accurately.
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service to build long-lasting relationships.
- Cross-sell bank products such as savings accounts, CDs, and loans to meet branch goals.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints with patience and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations.
- Handle cash drawer balancing and audit procedures at the end of each shift.
- Assist with opening and closing duties and security protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional stress.
- Familiarity with banking software and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
