Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax laws, garnishments, and FLSA requirements
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Manage year-end tax filings (W-2, 1099, 941) and audit preparations
- Implement payroll process improvements using automation tools
- Train HR and department heads on payroll procedures and systems
- Collaborate with benefits administration for deductions and enrollments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification preferred
- Advanced knowledge of FLSA, DOL, and GA payroll regulations
- Proficient in Excel with VLOOKUP and pivot table skills
- Proven problem-solving ability with 100% accuracy focus
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus
