Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive compliance programs aligned with federal regulations (Dodd-Frank, SOX) and industry-specific standards
- Conduct risk assessments and internal audits across global operations
- Lead regulatory reporting initiatives for SEC filings and state-level compliance
- Coordinate with legal counsel to address regulatory changes and enforcement actions
- Maintain compliance documentation and training programs for 500+ employees
- Investigate potential violations and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on policy development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of compliance experience in energy or financial services
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) designation required
- Deep knowledge of federal/state regulations and industry standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven experience in remote team leadership and virtual collaboration
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
