Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and timely.
- Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and trial balances.
- Process payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial data is up-to-date.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax returns.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline financial reporting procedures.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
