Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for client portfolios
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations (SaaS, real estate)
- Implement and optimize accounting systems (QuickBooks Online, Xero)
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with CFOs on financial forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Lead training sessions for junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero platforms
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor credentials required
- Expertise in multi-entity accounting and sales tax compliance
- Proven track record of improving financial reporting accuracy
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
