Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including month-end and year-end close procedures with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, variance analysis, and management reports to support executive decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls, including audit preparation and documentation.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and accurate invoicing.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with department heads to drive financial planning.
- Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) license is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Deep understanding of US GAAP accounting standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
