Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and strict adherence to deadlines.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Manage general ledger reconciliation and perform detailed variance analysis to support business decision-making.
- Assist in the annual budget preparation, forecasting, and strategic planning cycles.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize accounting processes and software utilization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or professional services environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
