Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations including A/P, A/R, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis with actionable insights
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment portfolios with precision
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring GAAP compliance
- Implement and maintain internal controls to prevent financial discrepancies
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Lead accounts receivable aging optimization strategies
- Train junior bookkeepers on financial software best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience in corporate or public accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Sage 50, and Excel (advanced functions)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Proven track record of managing multi-entity accounting systems
