Responsibilities
- Process high-volume invoices and billing statements with a focus on 100% accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable (AR) aging, identifying and resolving delinquent accounts.
- Reconcile daily bank deposits and credit card transactions to ensure financial integrity.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and payment inquiries.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to identify trends and areas for process improvement.
- Maintain and update billing software and databases with current client information and payment terms.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Experience with billing software or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
