Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Oversee tax preparation processes and coordinate with external auditors
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks Enterprise, Xero)
- Lead month-end closing procedures with zero tolerance for errors
- Develop financial reports to support strategic business decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional certification (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience in mid-sized companies
