Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and ledgers.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems for financial documents.
- Perform basic payroll assistance and tax form preparation.
- Reconcile discrepancies in accounts and communicate findings to the Senior Accountant.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc reporting and data analysis.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
