Responsibilities
- Oversee daily general ledger accounting activities and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures, including reconciliation of bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance analysis, and management reports for leadership review.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring invoices are paid and collections are managed efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of tax schedules and compliance documentation for external audits.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure adherence to internal controls and GAAP standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Night shift availability (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) required.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
