Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Process payroll transactions, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and tax returns.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
  • Collaborate with the management team to improve financial processes and internal controls.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intacct) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
