Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including adjusting entries and accruals.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual sales tax reports with the state of Washington.
- Assist external auditors during annual reviews and provide requested documentation.
- Collaborate with management to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required; NetSuite experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- High school diploma required; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
