Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, ensuring strict compliance with GAAP.
- Accounts Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Payroll Management: Process payroll for a multi-state workforce, ensuring accurate deductions, tax withholdings, and timely employee payments.
- Bookkeeping Operations: Oversee the full cycle of bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense tracking for multiple clients.
- Software Management: Utilize QuickBooks Online and Xero to maintain digital records, generate reports, and automate financial workflows.
- Compliance & Auditing: Assist in tax preparation and ensure all financial documentation meets regulatory requirements and internal audit standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience in a corporate or CPA firm setting.
- Certifications: Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or NACPB certification is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and cloud-based accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors, manage large volumes of data, and maintain 100% accuracy.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
