Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and general ledgers.
- Assist with monthly payroll processing and prepare sales tax filings.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures in a timely manner.
- Monitor budgets and provide financial analysis to management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
