Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Accurately receive, code, and process high volumes of vendor invoices in a timely manner.
- Vendor Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries regarding billing and payments.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable ledgers to ensure data accuracy.
- System Management: Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) to enter data and generate reports.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and variance analysis.
- Expense Management: Review and approve employee expense reports in accordance with company policy.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure data integrity.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and team members.
