Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
- Verify customer identity and ensure strict compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby environment to enhance the customer experience.
- Resolve customer inquiries and account issues with professionalism and efficiency.
- Identify and cross-sell appropriate banking products and services to meet branch goals.
- Assist with opening and closing branch operations, including vault security and ATM maintenance.
- Reconcile daily teller drawers and report discrepancies immediately to management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a Bank Teller, Cashier, or in retail customer service is preferred.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bank operating systems.
