Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess applicant creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit analysis reports with risk assessments and recommendations
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with lending teams to structure credit facilities aligned with risk tolerance
- Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and internal credit policies
- Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders through concise written reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of credit analysis or underwriting experience
- Proficiency in financial modeling and spreadsheet software (Excel required)
- Strong understanding of commercial lending principles and risk assessment
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with Alaska's economic landscape preferred
