Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts for 15+ client portfolios
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and monthly financial statements
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and Xero for comprehensive bookkeeping workflows
- Assist with quarterly tax preparations and annual audits
- Implement financial controls and process improvements for operational efficiency
- Provide month-end closing support and variance analysis
- Collaborate with CFOs on strategic financial planning initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks/Xero proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP principles and payroll processing
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Experience with sales tax filings and multi-state payroll compliance
- Strong attention to detail with 100% reconciliation accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions
