What You Will Do:
As our Senior Bookkeeper, you will be the backbone of our accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records, ensuring all entries are timely and correct.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely collection of receivables.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L and Balance Sheets.
- Payroll Support: Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Compliance: Stay current with tax laws and accounting standards, ensuring all filings are accurate and submitted on time.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (or Xero) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables required).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy when handling financial data and documentation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Integrity: Strong ethical standards and ability to handle sensitive financial information.
