Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and reporting.
- Process payroll and ensure all regulatory compliance requirements are met.
- Perform monthly financial close procedures and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
