As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations. Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card statements to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure all filings are submitted by deadlines.
- Conduct internal audits of financial data to identify discrepancies and suggest improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Assist in the onboarding of new accounting software and system upgrades.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Certification (CPA, CMA, or CFA) is highly preferred.
