Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and reconcile bank accounts
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for financial efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Utilize advanced Excel functions and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for data analysis
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting to stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Proficiency in GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and accounting software
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial data to non-finance stakeholders
