Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly and annual bank reconciliations and ensure all discrepancies are resolved.
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial statements.
- Process payroll and ensure all tax filings are submitted on time.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax returns.
- Review and code invoices for proper categorization and authorization.
- Collaborate with the finance manager to improve financial processes and reporting.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and high-level organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of GAAP and local tax regulations.
