Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks including accurate data entry and financial record maintenance.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable schedules.
- Support the accounting team during month-end close procedures and report preparation.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Perform basic financial reporting using spreadsheets and accounting software.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience: No prior bookkeeping experience required. We are looking for raw potential and a willingness to learn.
- Skills: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) is required; familiarity with QuickBooks or Xero is a plus.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data processing; excellent organizational skills.
