Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow for 15+ clients
- Prepare month-end closing reports and financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Oversee payroll processing and tax filings for multiple business entities
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows (QuickBooks Online, Xero)
- Conduct internal audits and recommend process improvements
- Collaborate with tax professionals during quarterly/annual reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero platforms
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Proven track record of reconciling complex multi-entity accounts
- Familiarity with sales tax compliance and payroll regulations (CA)
- Exceptional analytical skills with zero tolerance for errors
- Calm demeanor under pressure during month-end closings
